Meet the Founder
Our CEO Jeff Lopez garnered the necessary community-support in the fall of 2007 to open the initial location. The Foundation has since attracted outstanding full-time staff and some of the country's brightest minds as volunteers.

Mission
HOUSING THE HOMELESS, RECLAIMING LIVES!!!
A New Hope for Tucson Foundation, Inc. ("The Foundation") is a non-profit 501-C3, grassroots organization currently dedicated to providing transitional housing for homeless, poor and marginalized adult men in Tucson, Arizona.
We provide a safe, structured, transitional living environment as a basis for employability. Our residents have access to resources like clothing, food, bus-passes, tools, work-boots, bicycles and referrals to health-services.
The sober living program at A New Hope is ninety days in duration, but residents are permitted to stay for longer periods depending on individual needs. All residents are required to secure full-time employment and live clean and sober lifestyles. We offer a “helping hand” not a “hand-out.”
House managers, mentors, peer leaders, and staff assist with job-search efforts, financial planning, life skills, GED preparation, and substance-abuse counseling.
Vision
A New Hope strives to create a “full cycle” program for recovery, re-entry into society, and housing that will provide long-term, low-cost housing in an apartment-type setting to complement our transitional living program. A New Hope facilitates professional counseling and job-placement assistance in order for our residents to be fully integrated into the Tucson community and free from legal encumbrances, substance abuse, and poverty.
