Program Information and Enrollment Applications
A New Hope For Tucson Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to help the poor, homeless, and oppressed in Tucson, Arizona with a special dedication to those with substance-abuse issues and transitioning from incarceration back to society. We bring addiction-counselors and the twelve-step meetings to our residents. A New Hope Tucson Foundation offers a safe, structured transitional-living environment that is approved for probation. Community-service hours can be done on-site.
Part of the agreement with our residents is that each will attend at least three twelve-step recovery meetings a week, one counseling-session a week and submit to a urinalysis upon request (testing performed by J-2 Labs) during their stay with us.
Twelve-step meetings for AA, NA, and CMA or CA are available on-site. We highly recommend that new residents attend 90 meetings in 90 days and require that residents get a sponsor as soon as reasonably possible (within about two to three weeks).
Each location is serviced by an on-site, live-in manager and a case-manager is available on-site daily. In addition to hosting twelve-step meetings on-site, our community-education program provides residential treatment and one-on-one assistance.
Our amenities include rooms with two bunk beds, shared kitchen (where each resident can prepare his or her meal), common area with TV, washer & dryer, and air conditioning (select locations). Each location is within easy walking-distance of several bus-lines (we'll assist with bus-passes).
As of November 1, 2012 program-fees are $120.00 per week or $475.00 per month. We request a 90-day commitment; clients may stay as long as needed. A New Hope will assist with obtaining food-stamps, AHCCCS, hygiene-kits, and clothing.
All participants are required pursue gainful employment. We're aware that new clients need to establish themselves with employment and we'll work with you regarding the initial payment. A communal computer is available to prepare resumes, for which assistance will be provided (no Internet-access).
A New Hope for Tucson Foundation, Inc. will work in cooperation and compliance with the
referring agencies' case-workers and follow the respective guidelines for clients with behavioral-health issues.
